Meet Jennifer — A Picky Eater with a Purpose
I'm a lifelong picky eater from Duxbury, MA — raised by a mom who trained with Julia Child and once lit a stage on fire with 100 flaming plum puddings. I inherited none of the adventurous palate, but all of the hospitality genes.
By day, I'm a public procurement attorney passionate about equity, transparency, and ethical sourcing. That intersection of personal taste and public values inspired Source & Standard — a blog dedicated to the ethics, origins, and integrity behind what we eat, with a focus on sustainable, local, and always picky-proof sourcing.
